Chris Ogden has been a senior management team member, founder, principal,
or major contributor to technical organizations for nearly eighteen years.
He has deep expertise across business functions applying technology to
solve business challenges as both a manager and an implementor. In addition
to leading companies' technology, he has driven product management, program/project
management, sales and marketing, software development, networking, and
systems integration - encompassing design, coding, implementation, training,
and support.
Presently, Chris builds, manages, and leads software development teams
at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's School of Public
Health in creation of large Internet Applications, dynamic websites, research
tools, and online learning initiatives. Currently he is leading leading
the design and development of an $8M J2EE, mission-critical system with
national healthcare impact. This project follows the successful delivery
of a million dollar value system ahead of schedule/under budget in support
of 40,000 users for Workforce Preparedness System in response to bioterrorism
for CDC and State of NC.
Previously, Mr. Ogden worked extensively for private sector organizations.
His latest role was as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of a $35M venture-funded,
Bermuda-based international payment processing firm focusing on multi-currency
cross border transactions.
